Emma was delighted to show her support for a very special partnership event on Friday. South Shields Co-operative Funeralcare and St Clare’s Hospice teamed up to raise funds for the Hospice at their ‘Tea until 3’ drop in, held in the Community Room at South Shields Funeralcare on Westoe Road. Volunteers and staff showed off their baking skills with a gorgeous array of cakes and treats for sale as well as a mystery book stall, tombola and raffles. Emma said : It’s often very difficult for us to discuss end of life issues but both organisations clearly want to raise awareness as well as funds to ensure that local people and their families have the best of care at the time when they most need it. Congratulations to all involved in organising this lovely event.”
